Kickapoo Lady Chiefs - 3
Camdenton - 0

The Lady Chiefs defense had another
shutout last night against the Lady
Lakers from Camdenton.  The Lakers
ran up against a stingy defense
Tuesday night and an offense that has started to gel.  The first goal of the evening came
on a 30 yard free kick from Katy McLain that went just under the cross bar.  The second
score came later in the first half from Megan Etter with an assist from McLain.  The final goal of
the night came late in the second from McKenna Adams on a crossed ball inside the 6.

Ozark Tigers - 0

After a slow start to the season the Lady Chiefs
are gaining momentum.  The Lady Chiefs
brought their record to 8-8 after a victory
Monday night against the Ozark Tigers.  Kiley
Huslig had two assists on the night.  The first
assist was a header over the keeper to
Mallory Williams, and a few minutes later the
second assist came on a cross to Megan Etter.
The night wasn't all positive however, as the
Ladies lost a fourth starter, Megan Melugin,
to injury for an undetermined amount of time.

Kickapoo Lady Chiefs - 0
Jefferson City - 3

The Lady Chiefs never recovered
from an early Jefferson City goal
despite several good scoring
opportunities.  The ladies will face
Glendale Wednesday night in their
last game of the season before
district playoffs.

Kickapoo Lady Chiefs - 2
Glendale - 4

It was the night of the crossbar for the Lady
Chiefs.  At least three balls hit the crossbar
while several other shots narrowly missed
right and left.  Katy McLain, playing in her final
home game as a Lady Chief, along with
Paige Blotter, Abby Ussery, and Chealsey
Russell, started the scoring with a shot from about 18 yards out on the left side.  The second
and final goal came on a PK from Russell after she was fouled in the box.  The score at this
point was 3-2 in favor of Glendale, but the momentum seemed to be with Kickapoo.  A late
crossed ball and header into the goal from Glendale sealed the Chiefs fate.

UNDEFEATED SEASON.

Kickapoo Lady Chiefs - 5
Nixa - 1

The Lady Chiefs scored early off of a crossed
ball that Erica Freiert finished into the right side.
The Ladies scored several more times in the
first half and held Nixa scoreless until early in the
second half when the Eagles scored
on a PK.
The Chiefs played almost the entire second
half one player down, and still managed to
extend their lead when Jessica McCutcheon's
kick
went over the defender's head, and Chealsey Russell managed to lift the ball just over the
keepers outstretched arms.  The ladies will play for the district title against Ozark Thursday
night.
